2025 AAU College Hockey DI/WM National Championship - March 6th - 3 Stars of the Day

Day two of the AAU Nationals was full of exciting matchups. The Women's Division started, and pool play for the Men's Division continued. With ten games on day two, three players led their teams to victory. 

1st Star - Neve Padulo, F, Syracuse University (WM)  

Syracuse University kicked off tournament play with a dominant 8-3 against Springfield College. Neve Padulo was the difference maker in the win, scoring five points with three goals and two assists. Padulo's three goals led to the tournament's first hat-trick across both divisions. Syracuse University will continue to look for strong play throughout from Padulo as they look to advance to the finals. 

2nd Star - Ryan Anatra, F, University of Delaware 

The University of Delaware Blue Hens faced the defending champion University of South Carolina Gamecocks, coming out on top with a 4-3 win in overtime. Ryan Anatra was the hero for the Blue Hens, with an assist and two goals, including the game-winner to upend the Gamecocks.

3rd Star - Tess Marchi, D, University of Tampa (WM)

The University of Tampa Lady Spartans faced off in a rivalry matchup against the University of Alabama Frozen Tide. Tess Marchi led the way, scoring two goals for the Spartans en route to a 4-2 win on the first day of play. Marchi will be a player to watch as the tournament continues.
